This is a special single estate OP tea from Rukeri at an elevation of 1600m high in the mountains of Rwanda. A crisp refreshing brew with an aromatic medium body and subtle but moreish nutty biscuit undertone. Can handle a splash of milk but is smooth enough to effortlessly drink on its own.
Rwanda has the ideal conditions for growing tea with high temperatures and high humidity combined with two rainy seasons. This tea specifically comes from the Rukeri garden which produces some of the finest teas from the country. They carefully handle the tea during withering to protect the delicate leaves and maintain its distinctive long wirey appearance.
