Enjoy your tea adventure

A beautiful orthadox black tea with wiry fine strands of well twisted leaf. The well rounded liquor exudes hints of chocolate and plum leaving a sweet lingering aftertaste on the pallet.  Grown at high elevation in the Blue Mountains of Nilgiri in southern India, it was experty cultivated by boutique tea farmers that operate on strict ethical principles and use sustainable green practices.

It was harvested in February 2022 and then immediately stored in a vacumm chamber to maintain the Harvest Fresh flavours.

Why is fresh tea better?

The main reason to drink fresh tea is because of how good it tastes, it is simply on another level. Every note of flavour is amplified and turned up to 11, with each sip of tea bursting with flavour.  Don't just take our word for it, try it yourself.

Another reason fresh tea is best is that slowly over time the tea leaves lose nutrients, the more time that passes the more nutrients the leaves lose. Just like fresh fruit and vegetables, the sooner you eat them the more nutritious they are, which is why drinking fresh tea is healthier.

How does a vacuum chamber work?

Exposure to air will slowly over time degrade the tea leaves and strip them of their freshness.  We can significanlty slow this process down by placing the tea in a vacuum chamber which is specially designed to remove all the air from inside a container. Keeping the tea inside a vacuum  chamber means the freshness of the tea is then preserved for much longer.
