At the heart of the blend is Kenyan purple tea, an unusual tea variety naturally rich in both anthocyanins and polyphenols. These naturally occurring antioxidant compounds give purple tea its distinctive character, with higher levels of antioxidants reported than in conventional green tea.
Purple tea also has a remarkably approachable flavour. Rather than the grassy character associated with many green teas, it produces a smooth, light infusion with subtle woody notes, making it an excellent base for the freshness of mint.
We combine it with real peppermint and spearmint leaves, each bringing something different to the blend. Peppermint delivers an intense cooling freshness, while spearmint adds a softer, naturally sweeter mint character. Together they create a more rounded and layered flavour than either mint alone.

Once infused, Power Mint is fresh, smooth and intensely minty. The first impression is a burst of cooling peppermint, followed by the softer sweetness of spearmint, while the purple tea underneath gives the infusion body and a gentle depth.
